Michael Falgren is a Danish photographer with Kurdish origins, born and raised in Denmark.
Based out of Hornbæk, a small fishermans village north of Copenhagen, he has access to great danish nature with forrest and beaches as a perfect backdrop for many of his productions. He is 41 years old and has 4 kids, that he spends most of his free time with when not working.
His photographic career started in fashion more than 15 years ago, having worked for publications such as Elle, Glamour and Grazia. He has been commissioned for projects for Pandora, Shamballa, Rue de Tokyo, Notabene, Last Conspiracy and Underprotection.
For the past years his practice has broadened towards shooting interior for clients like Frama, Ikea, Georg Jensen Damask and publications such as Residence and RUM International along with more commercial/lifestyle clients such as Lego, Libratone and Tuborg.
Michael has a great eye for detail and light, and his warm and welcoming personality always brings out a natural and relaxed mood on set or location which can been seen in his eminent portraits of anyone from topmodels, singers to regular people or extras on commercial shootings.
